PUTRAJAYA --.Princess Aura Nurr Ermily Amara Auliya Bidadari Nawal El Zendra binti Mohd Suffian is the longest name in Malaysia, according to the National Registration Department (JPN) records.
JPN director-general Datuk Mohammad Razin Abdullah said according to its records, the most popular name for males was Ismail (72,157 people) followed Ahmad (57,914) and Abdullah (47,989).
For females, they were Fatimah (74,605 people) , Zainab (41,450) and Azizah (34,114), he said at the department’s Innovation Day 2018 celebrations here today.
According to the departments records, as of June 30, 2018, the total number of MyKad holders stood at 22,664,773 of whom 19,322,409 had switched to the latest version, while 3,247,589 had not, 81,250 are still holding the Kad Pengenalan Bermutu Tinggi (KPT) and 13,525 Kad Pengenalan Pertama (KPP).
He urged all those not having switched to the latest version to do so without delay.
